Swim with the Satellites
After university, I decided it was time to invest in new synths and sound banks—tools that would help me refine my sound and explore textures beyond what I could previously create. Swim with the Satellites is a project born from this expansion, blending fresh sonic possibilities with the familiar elements that shaped my earlier work.
My compositional approach remains rooted in the techniques I developed for my debut album, Press Play, but this time, you’ll hear influences from early Drum and Bass and Dance Pop, adding a new dimension to my sound. I enjoy mashing together defining elements from different genres, often exploring dichotomy and contrast within a piece. This approach makes my music difficult to confine to a single tag or genre— instead, it becomes something unequivocally my own.
